Doug Foley Drag Racing School was formed in 1997 by professional drag racer, Doug Foley, after he realized an overwhelming need for a comprehensive training school. In 2001, the school added an entertainment branch with the Dragster Experience. After this came the Fantasy Ride-Along which allows individuals to enjoy the thrill of riding with a professional drag racer in an 800-horsepower dragster.
The Dragster Experience is a half day course that gives drag racing enthusiasts the chance to see how it feels to get behind the wheel and reach speeds well over 100mph. The day starts with a one hour orientation where basic safety and operational procedures are discussed. After orientation, drivers are issued the necessary safety equipment. Drivers are then secured in one of the state of the art dragsters. Drivers have the chance to make two or three runs depending on the package purchased.
*Individual drivers can be accommodated as well as large corporate groups and can arrange track-side photography and/or catered lunch.
Dragster Blast Ride Along
If you are looking for the dragster experience, but not necessarily interested in driving, this is the program for you! The ride along experience allows guests to ride with a professional licensed driver. The ride will include a long smoky burnout, they will stage the race car, and will reach speeds well over 140mph.

The corporate and group outings give companies the opportunity to make lasting impressions on clients, prospective clients, and employees. The Arbors is a 112-acre tree farm in western Rowan County North Carolina. It is the perfect place for a wedding or corporate event to take place. There are two unique venues to choose from which are The Main House and the Pavilion. Both packages include an outdoor wedding ceremony location, followed by an indoor reception.
The Main House
The Main House overlooks a three acre pond that is full of fish and wildlife. The House is a custom built home with an attached 4700 square foot reception area. The reception space is heated and cooled, includes commercial restrooms, a bar, and a catering prep area. The outdoor space includes a large dock, huge outdoor living areas with a fire place, and two fire pits. With the beautiful stone, rustic beams, and cedar shakes, the main house truly has an outdoor and picturesque feel to it!
The Pavilion is the brand new 4200 square foot reception facility constructed of stone and cedar shake siding. This offers guests the rustic feel of the farm with the amenities of a climate controlled banquette. The Pavilion has restrooms, a dressing room,a bar, and a place for catering prep.
Mason Dixon Collection
The Mason Dixon Collection offers a wide variety of vintage and eclectic rental items available on site. With everything from mason jars, to tabletops, to wooden church pews, to vintage sofas, the Mason Dixon Collection has everything you need to make your wedding personalized. Brides who have booked their weddings at The Arbors, receive a $100 credit towards the rental items and receive advice on how to create the perfect theme they are going for.

One of the most popular events is the Farmer’s Market, which is held every Saturday morning from 8am-12pm. This is a great opportunity to purchase fresh produce at a great price, while also supporting local farmers.
Each week there is a community music jam at Richard’s Coffee Shop, that is held on Saturdays from 9am-12pm.
Every first and third Wednesday night of the month, 202 North Main Fine Wines has an Open Mic Talent night. On Thursday nights they have educational and fun wine tastings and live music is featured on Friday and Saturday nights.
The Enchanted Olive has a tasting bar that allows guests the ability to try over 50 different olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and specialty oils. Yum!

The Brawley House is a historic home built in 1907. It is a Queen Anne Victorian House on almost 23 acres of landscaped land. The 5,500 square foot mansion has all original wood floors and 12ft ceilings. The house has been beautifully restored and now has wood paneling, textured interior walls, and the exterior has a fresh coat of paint. From the historic home, to the carefully landscaped surrounding land, it’s no surprise many couples choose to spend their special day at The Brawley House.
The Estate not only has a beautiful historic home, but also lots of lush green land surrounding it with several different options for event spots. There is a newly constructed stable that can be used for the wedding ceremony or reception. The stable is 3,400 square feet, with tall ceilings, and can hold up to 250 people. Outside of the stable is a lovely white arbor that is a perfect spot for the ceremony nuptials to take place.
The Brawley House is a great location for not only weddings and receptions, but also corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries, and any other special occasion worth celebrating! There are small ceremony packages and semi-inclusive packages. The small ceremony is for two hours and does not include a reception or food. The semi-inclusive package includes tables, chairs, linens, buffet tables, cake and gift tables. There are also wedding coordination packages available. There is a food vendor requirement, however all other vendors are up to the guests. If you are looking for suggestions on vendors for other aspects of the event, they have a list of recommended vendors available.

Whether you are interested in a small, medium, or large size wedding ceremony, The Quarry at Carrigan Farms is a wonderful location! Because of the beautiful landscape, many describe the Farm as a piece of “Heaven on Earth”. It has the perfect blend of mountain and beach vistas, blue water, and towering granite walls as the wedding backdrop. There is also a large covered pavilion that is perfect for the reception.
Flash weddings are spontaneous wedding ceremonies that are only booked a few days in advance. Carrigan Farms takes care of everything, minister, music, flowers, food, cake, etc. The months of February, March and November occasionally have unusual warm, sunny days that are typically chosen for a flash wedding. During the peak season, April-October, flash weddings are during the week, mainly Monday-Thursday. They can either be during the day (10am-3pm), or evening (5pm-11pm). The flash weddings are a great alternative to a courthouse or chapel wedding. They still feel personal and special, while not taking months to plan!
Carrigan Farm is not only a special place to have a wedding, it also makes for a great spot for other celebrations! The following are just some of the most popular events held here; company picnics, swim parties, graduation parties, church picnics, birthday parties, and even Christmas parties! If the event is during a colder season, like Christmas, The Farmhouse Cellar can be rented. The Cellar has rich walnut woods and handmade brick floors and makes for a great, festive space!
There is actually a real working farm that specializes in growing only the finest fruits and vegetables. Depending on the time of year you can find everything from strawberries to asparagus, lettuce, apples, and even pumpkins! Nearly all of the produce is sold on the farm and a lot is used in catered events. Carrigan prides itself on being able to provide the best and freshest produce to their guests.

The Oak Ridge Farm features a home built in 1870 sitting on an 18 acre piece of beautifully landscaped land. The farm is used today for weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. The space can accommodate up to 300 people for each event. The historic home has wide covered porch areas that can accommodate up to 48 people for a sit down event and the surrounding yard offers unlimited options. *Tents are welcome
Why Oak Ridge?
The mission of the staff at Oak Ridge is to eliminate as much stress a possible for the bride, groom, and wedding guests. They do this by only having one event per day, which allows for flexibility when setting up and tear down. Brides also have the opportunity to schedule their bridal portraits or other photography sessions on the grounds on another day at no extra charge.
Oak Ridge prides itself on being an “open venue”. This means the caterer, music, photographer, etc are entirely up to the bride and groom. They do not require a certain list of vendors, however they do have a recommended list if the couple would like to choose from that!
Bed & Breakfast
The bed and breakfast is a great place for close family and friends to stay during the wedding weekend. A relaxing breakfast is served each morning and can be enjoyed in the dining room or outside on the porch! Typically brides book rooms the night before the wedding with their maid of honor and bridesmaids. This is a good opportunity for a last hoorah with the girls before she gets married! The breakfast also serves as a nice relaxing hour for the bridal party before the wedding ceremony.

The mission of the Mooresville GoPro Motorplex is to provide racing enthusiasts a turn-key karting experience centered around an advanced, world-class race track. There is a diverse schedule for different levels of karters, arrive & drive events, races, and group events. The idea for the motorplex was born in 2009 and was brought to life in 2011. Since then, race lovers have been able to have a hands on driving experience that is affordable and easy!
The track at the Mooresville GoPro Motorplex is based on the famous Kartdromo Parma in Italy. The Kartdromo Parma is considered one of the finest, but most challenging karting circuits in the world and was the starting place for many renowned drivers. The GoPro track was created to mimic the original Parma, with the newest world championship karting specifications. It features a proprietary motorsports-specific asphalt design, CIK curbing and runoff zones, and a wide, accommodating paddock and pit area capable of holding the largest events in North America.
Rentals are available seven days a week. On Monday, they are available from 12pm-8pm, Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-8pm, and Sunday from 12pm-6pm. All rental kart drivers under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian fill out a permission form and have it notarized.

If you are looking for a place that has something fun for everyone, then look no further! The Pit offers guests the ability to drive high speed go-karts, participate in a game of laser tag, play a round of mini-golf, climb a rock wall, and even try out some batting cages. Since The Pit is located in Race City USA, it would only be right for visitors to have the opportunity to get in a car and race! There are go-karts available for youth and for adults. The 10 Sodi youth karts and 20 Sodi RX7 adult carts are not your ordinary go-karts and can go 40+ mph! The go-karts have adjustable seats and pedals, so they can be converted to fit any size driver.
As if the go-karts weren’t enough to get you to come drive, the track should do it! It is a 70,000 square foot track and is one of the largest in the country. With 20 challenging turns, it’s not your typical go-kart track!
The mini-golf course at The Pit is under black lights and is wizards and dragon themed! It is a entertaining 18-hole course for visitors of all ages.
The laser tag arena is a 3,600 square foot arena where up to 20 participants can battle it out at once. There are 7 different game scenarios for groups to choose from. Laser tag makes a great birthday party event for kids!
By featuring a challenging 21ft tall rock climbing wall, w/ 6 different climbing stations, The Pit offers climbers a variety of climbs. Anyone from a beginner level to expert, will all have routes available to climb. There is no actual age limit for the wall, climbers must weigh at least 40lbs and no more than 250lbs.
The batting cages are great for kids and adults. There are three pitching machines that are equipped for baseball and softball. Ball teams can also rent the 10,000 square foot space for practice.

Kyle Busch Motorports is a 77,000 square foot race shop and corporate headquarters for Kyle Busch and the other Kyle Busch drivers. The race shop is fully equipped and ready to handle race preparation for it’s fleet of Toyota Camry’s and Tundras. The space is also used for executive meetings and gatherings with all of it’s partners.
KBM started with Kyle’s first purchase of a Legends car in 2003 to provide a way for him to improve his driving skills. Since then, KBM has filled a trophy case with the Legends car and late model hardware. The Motorports team is now home to the No. 77 Toyota Camry in the Nascar Nationwide Series and the No. 18, No.51, and No. 54 Tundra’s in the Nascar Camping World Truck Series. In addition, there is a 2,000 square foot retail store for visitors to check out and purchase some great Nascar memorabilia.
